AAAA+ ebay seller/ Fast shipper of this pivotal WWII IJN heavy cruiser "Tone". It was the 45 minute delay in sending out her balky scout plane that led to the failure to sight the 3 American carriers in the NE quadrant on the 180 degree search arc in advance of the Japanese attack at Midway. Additionally , the "Tone's" plane had a defective radio which caused an additional delay in reporting the American force once it was found. Those delays led to the loss of 4 Japanese aircraft carriers .
