Vise will not open more than 1.5 inches or so due to one of the two guide rods being slightly bent. Would have been good relevant info to put in item description. However I will say, seller likely may not have been aware of the issue as they had many items listed at time of order. Had I just given it a visual inspection I would have thought it to be functional. You have to try to open all the way to realize the issue.
