In fourteen papers Christoph Burger paints a picture of Luther as a member of his order, as a theologian who sees man facing God entirely dependent on grace, and as an interpreter of Mary's doxology. The volume presents Luther's statements on the right way to fear God and on the appropriate way to love for God along with an example of how to appeal to him.
