CHIP MESSINER Chip Messiner has been entertaining since 1966. He was just eleven years old when he played his first professional job. He was born in Chicago. Chip founded CAM Music Entertainment in 1983. He was also the President of Pot-O-Gold Entertainment in Barrington, IL for several years. While living in Berkeley,IL., CAM Music Entertainment was providing entertainment for fairs, festivals, corporate events and nursing homes. Chip was also writing songs and producing other artists and songwriters in his recording studio that he built in the basement of his home. Recording several albums and hundreds of demos for up and coming songwriters. At one point, Chip was able to secure dozens of his writer's songs with Nashville publishers. At this point, Chip realized that music publishing was a place that he wanted to be at. So, today, he has two publishing companies with over 200 songs in his song catalog. Currently, he owns CAM Music Entertainment and RainTree Records LLC. On the RainTree Record Label, Chip has had the opportunity to release 5 songs nationally. Three of those songs went to the number one spot on the Independent Charts. (The "Inde" charts are like triple A baseball. It's just below the majors.) The name of Chip's latest album is FLYING DOWN THESE BACKROADS. It's a collection of 15 original country songs that Chip has written. St. Judes Children's Hospital is a partner with this album. For every CD sold, Chip will be donating $4.00 per CD that will go directly to St. Judes Children's Hospital. The cost of the CD is $12.00.
