Notes
:: INDUSTRY BIO:: Mynista, also known as Docta Wuzdead, is a name that has found it's way into the homes of thousands of people across the United States without the backing of major distribution, marketing, or promotion. Mynista's professional music career began in 1996 when he decided to stop dreaming of being a rap artist and make it a reality. He began his career under the name Synista and made a name for himself around the area of Tampa Bay, Florida. At the end of 1996, Mynista, then known as Synista, was recruited by a popular local Tampa Bay rap clique and began recording as the front man for the group. Known for their banging dirty south bass beats and street rhymes, Synista and the group began putting out two compilation albums per year in the Tampa Bay underground circuit. In1997, Underwood Records, an independent record label based out of Tampa Florida, heard the buzz, and Mynista signed his first and last recording contract as Synista. Underwood shelved the project, but the determined camp continued to produce compilations and put on shows as major labels began to take notice. In July of 1999, with six underground compilations littering the streets of Florida and a few major label A&R reps contacting him, Synista decided to part ways with the camp. He then changed his identity from Synista to Mynista. In 2000, reborn as Mynista and fully focused, he released his first entirely solo project entitled 'Blood Covered' on his newly formed independent record label, Warria Records. He began to hit the streets and perform at venues of all types. In 2001, Mynista partnered up with label mate Qfyre and released the album 'Triple Seven,' landing his first national distribution deal as a result. In 2002, Mynista released 'Wealth of Da Wicked,' a compilation album that featured a host of Florida rappers as well as three solo tracks of his own. With a new national retail and digital distribution deal, 2003 brought the release of 'Ghetto Grace,' Mynista's tell all expose album that gained him a loyal fan base from ages two to ninety-two. In early 2004, Mynista released a free, non-sale album entitled 'Bloody Streets: Volume One' that gained the attention of the underground and mainstream. :: TESTIMONY:: Once a DIRTY rap artist, this X-thug found out the hard way that the rap game is not all it seems to be. While in a local Tampa Bay rap Group, Mynista (then Synista) was being scouted by Major records labels to Take his 'career' to the next level. It just so happens that people that he was rapping with were in the occult, literally selling their souls to the devil. One night in his home studio recording music, demonic forces began speaking to Mynista through these dark anointed vessels, asking him for his soul in exchange for fortune and fame...to make a long story short...he bucked on the devil, said no, and gave his life and talent to Jesus Christ. 'I had heard Pac say that he was selling his soul for fast cars and riches, and Snoop Dogg say it on Murda Was The Case', says Mynista, 'but I was lost at the time, and didn't even recognize they were being for real, now I'm going to expose game.'
