It is a 2 speed but it lifts my trailer much easier in high gear than the piece of junk RAM jack that my iron bullsh!t trailer came with. I hardly ever used the Ram jack and never with a vehicle on the trailer and it failed in no time! Don't waste your money on one of those! Get a made in the USA Bulldog jack From Discount Hitch Central. Great price and came nicely packaged and FAST!
