The drivers side on my 1976 2wd automatic truck, fit spectacular with no issues at all. The passenger side was difficult, not wanting to bang up the headers. I had to grind down the frame rail about 5/16 as well as the bell housing. After that they mounted nicely. Also loosening the right engine mount so you can raise the engine just that much helped. The sound is excellent though!
