The jeans are well made. But I have two gripes. Firstly, it is a pity that the lacings are not leather thongs rather than fabric laces. OK, you might need more than one on each leg. But that would not be a problem. The 'shoe lace' type fixings makes the jeans look cheaper than they deserve. Secondly, it would be nice if there were a fixing at the waist - such as a popper - to fully secure the jeans. The laces slacken over time, and again spoil the look. I doubt either change would cost much.
