    Yes they are new as far as not having been owned before . However I wont buy shoes I dont know the manufacture date again. These shoe are beautiful and look in great shape BUT are defintitely STIFF(i always order a half size larger New balance has a reputaion for comfort and the way they stablize your foot.. when the foam or other parts of material are old .not so much but they are less expensive.. Even then shoe should be reputable. Cant run in them. will use for other short activities.. JC
