The unit is small, can fit in a pocket, light and easy to use with a minimalist user interface. It is a product in development and should be viewed in that light, but none-the-less it is an excellent transceiver to own and operate. So far I have made about a dozen contacts on several bands, I am very happy that the unit is functional and arrived many days before the scheduled time.

Within two hours of connection of this radio to a dual band 20/40m dipole antenna in my attic I made 14 confirmed JT8 contacts spanning from Hawaii to Estonia on 20m. I was VERY impressed. This unit has the internal battery and charger. Very important! Don't fall for cheaper price and faster delivery without the internal battery.
