They pretty much only move left and right of the finger tightening knob. The ball gives you the expectation the the mirror part and the arm can move in any direction. It doesn't. So when I look in the mirror I have to turn my head more to look into each mirror because it's closer to me than the stock mirrors. If this is not an issue, good mirror. Little heavy.
