I should have looked to buy fabric where I am able to assess if it is what is needed, rather than on line. This is not the fault of the seller. The shrinkage is huge, 2 metres washed is 73 iches ie 185.42 cm. The seller was helpful and the fabric arrived on time. I will now use sheeting which I found in a charity shop and better meets my needs.Reply from: cottonsplashfabrics- Feedback replied by seller cottonsplashfabrics.- Feedback replied by seller cottonsplashfabrics.absolute rubbish , fabric can not shrink that much , not sure what have you done with it , when we post 2m it is always sent as at least 2.05 in length, you are trying to say it shrink over 10 % ...impossible . most we ever seen with cotton fabrics is 1-3 % which is totally acceptable , not 10 % , you must overheated it somehow ... this is cotton , max wash temp 45' C .... no tumble drying or iron in low heat as it is delicate fabric
