Mitsubishi XD250U-ST XGA DLP projectors have the power and flexibility to hande both large and small spaces well. Place the unit just 33 inches away from the screen and watch the lamp display a 60-inch image with a 2000:1 contrast ratio at 720p resolution. BrilliantColor technology uses six colors to enhance color accuracy increasing brightness by 50%. Connect your iPad, tablet, or personal computer to the HDMI port to display movies and turn up the internal 10W speaker for audio. The unit has audio input and output, monitor outputs, and video ports. If you are using a control room computer, attach the projector to a LAN and broadcast up to 350 characters to projectors in other rooms. Other significant features include low standby power, password lock for security, and instant shutdown.At only 7.3 pounds, the Mitsubishi model XD250u projector is just the right mobile size and weight for portability and easy connection to your electronics and accessories. No matter what the distance from your projection screen, you can count on digital keystone correction from Mitsubishi giving you a precisely proportional image. The 2,700 lumens of brightness shines from the lamp with a power that allows you to use a larger screen. You can leave the lights on and still enjoy excellent image clarity. The lamp has enough power to project a 120-inch diagonal image in moderate light conditions. You can also expect uniform brightness over your entire image. Lamps have a 6,000-hour rating in low mode, providing for many presentations or screenings before requiring maintenance or replacement. Its top loading capability was designed by the manufacturer to make lamp replacement easy.In a small room, there is a low lamp option that drops the output 22 percent. For an even higher level of color saturation and accuracy, you can run the unit in Theater mode in a home theater. The Mitsubishi XD350 has a user menu where you can take any type of preset mode and make a manual adjustment to suit your preferences.This Mitsubishi projector comes with a range of connectors and accessories for all of your electronics. The Ethernet connection allows remote control use and management over a LAN. It has two VGA inputs, one HDMI input, s-video, composite video, and a pass-through port for VGA monitors. The pass-through port allows for a lot of flexibility in a classroom situation with the projector ceiling mounted. Connect the monitor pass-through cables and one VGA input to the instructor's computer. This leaves one VGA input open for another piece of equipment, like a laptop, and the HDMI port free for a DVD player. Two more connections on the XD250 are an RJ-45 wired networking port and an RS-232 serial port. Use the serial port to link the projector to a computer and the presenter has total control. You can the same thing with the RJ-45 port to control the projector remotely. The fan operates at a quiet 28dB volume. An Audio Mix feature allows separate changes to volume when two audio inputs, such as a DVD player and wireless microphone, are used. Installed as standard equipment on these Mitsubishi projectors is a closed caption decoder that automatically processes spoken words into subtitles. For energy efficiency, the projector uses only 1W in standby mode.
