The item had a barcode, which first appeared in stores in 1974. The company which manufactured the item went out of business in 1985. The item is in terrific shape, being 40 to 50 years old. I was kept apprised as to delivery and date via the handy "track package" feature. As to value I would have paid any amount to get those pan clips because the new dehydrator I just bought didn't come with them. I contacted Nesco and they no longer provide them. This seller was the only source for them. I didn't need the dehydrator base, but will keep it as a spare. This dealer is great, ships fast!!!Nesco American Harvest Food Dehydrator FD-37 Rplmt.
