The Celestron telescope puts the user in the driving seat, allowing them to choose from a list of sky sights in various menus, before locating the object itself. This Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope can find over 40,000 sky objects, and the database is growing. For more casual sky browsing, all the user has to do is click on a few buttons on the Celestron NexStar 6 SE to start a tour and it will automatically show off the best objects currently visible based on the user's location and time. The Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope can also show information about various popular objects on the LCD screen, including interesting facts and the date it was first found, if applicable. Once the Celestron NexStar 6 SE has been set up, it can be controlled via computer using the NexRemote software, and the flash hand control provides instant telescope updates over the internet. This Celestron telescope combines the well-known orange tube design with a fully computerised operating system that will keep any astronomer busy for hours.
