The poster itself was inside a plastic bag and soft packaging placed at each end to reduce any movement and damage in the tube. This was by far the best packaging for a poster I've ever received. The postage wasn't fast from the USA to the UK which didn't bother me at all. For a quality poster of this age the most important factor is the packaging. Well done first class indeed.
