Not only is the Mercedes software genuine, it is packaged on a virtual machine with the VMware player to run it. Had it running in 15 minutes. I know what is needed to create a virtual machine and must say great job putting this together. The Mercedes software interface takes practice, but once mastered this has everything you need, parts, wiring, procedures with pic's, everything. I could not find a manual for my rare 2006 and this filled that gap.
