About this product
Product Information
"Tail Concerto" is an action-adventure game with a twist. Rather than play as humans, you'll play as dogs and cats. In the world of Prairie, the relationship between the dogs and cats is strained. As Waffle Ryebread, you're a canine police officer, and it's your job to keep the peace in Prairie. When the Black Cat Gang and their leader Alicia begin stealing crystals, there is no better cop for the job. Armed with your police robot, you'll traverse between different continents to stop these thieves. When Waffle realizes that the crystals are supposed to power The Iron Giant, he must stop the Black Cats no matter what. "Tail Concerto" was developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Atlus. "Tail Concerto" is a mix between the action-adventure genre and the platforming genre. Your Police Robo mecha suit can perform a variety of tasks. Not only can you can run and jump, but you can also hover in midair and climb. When it's time to begin combat, you can use the robot's arms to grab characters. Not only can you grab and throw enemies, but you can also grab crates, bombs, and even giant boulders. You'll frequently find yourself grabbing and throwing items to both defeat your foes and solve puzzles. With your trusty Bubble Blaster, you can make a fool of your opponents by stopping them before they even hit you. This five-hour adventure isn't all combat and jumping, though. You'll frequently explore towns filled with citizens who want to lend you a hand. These law-abiding citizens give you tips on how to complete objectives and give you moral support. Hidden in each town is an array of items you can use on your adventure. For example, Waffle can find police whistles hidden behind houses and in crates. Each whistle will grant you an extra life. Also hidden in the levels are photographs which contain artwork. Examples of the types of artwork you'll find include concept sketches and promotional materials. You can view this artwork at any time from the main menu. Players who want to uncover every secret can add an hour to their playing time. You'll need as many extra lives as you can to stop the notorious Black Cat Gang. Armed with their own mechas, these enemies are relentless in their attacks. You'll frequently find yourself up against bosses that take up the entire screen. Luckily, you'll find it easy to fend off your foes thanks to the responsive controls. "Tail Concerto" was one of the first PlayStation games to support the DualShock's analog sticks. These analog sticks make the combat in this PlayStation game a breeze."Tail Concerto" for the PlayStation has a rating of E. This rating means the game is suitable for gamers of all ages. "Tail Concerto" was developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Atlus. The title features colorful and vibrant graphics that make it feel like a Saturday morning cartoon. The game features characters that are fully voiced, further lending to the immersion. "Tail Concerto" combines a fun story, a dose of humor, and great combat to create an incredible game.
