I finished off soldering the main toroidal transformer onto the board (was only attached at one end). Once that was fixed up, it's working perfectly. Certainly can't complain about it for the price. Built in fan keeps it cool while it's working. Stable at 13.8vdc all the way up to the rated 30A. Good for the price, but internal connections should be checked before it gets powered on for the first time.
