- d***o (1705)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseCasablanca Halogen Star Fan received in damaged and unsafe condition. Halogen socket broken solder joint. Blamed the shipper (maybe then you should have packed better). Heat from halogen bulb use over time had "fried" the insulation off the hot and neutral wires leaving bare wire exposed at the halogen socket, very unsafe/hazardous and not disclosed. Immediately apparent upon unpacking As a supposed fan reseller SHOULD HAVE been aware of this....carpe diem.Reply from: leggolair_fans_and_tech- Feedback replied by seller leggolair_fans_and_tech.- Feedback replied by seller leggolair_fans_and_tech.The buyer is correct, there were issues with the light fixture that I missed. That said, as soon as I was notified of the issue, I offered my sincere condolences and multiple solutions. I immediately accepted the buyer's request for refund. Within an hour of receiving the fan back, the refund was issued. I pride myself on customer service and quality products; hopefully my otherwise flawless feedback rating reflects that. The issues with the fixture have been repaired and the fan relisted.
