The 'central' grooves are not in the centre but off-set on all sides & different lengths it looks like its had the life of the blade polished out of it! The edges of the yari are also uneven, it can be seen that the edges are elongated oddly meaning that it had been polished incorrectly and it had been 'chromed' at sometime.
