This chair, though Syrian, adds to my ensemble of an Egyptian table & wall mirror, also with the same mother of pearl inlay in a compatible pattern, even down to the narrow, black striped tesserae with white stripes within each tiny piece, providing a balanced contrast to set off the skillfully composed patterns. A welcome addition to my Indo-Saracenic majlis! Shukran!
