This internal hard drive can fit snugly on 3.5 inch bays and can connect via a 3 gigabits per second 7 pin serial advanced technology attachment connector that comes with the package. It has a 32 megabyte cache (or buffer) size and its rotational speed is regulated. It has a feature that can give the drive a data transfer performance of 3 gigabits per second buffer to host and a 100 megabits per second host to/from drive. Western Digital Caviar Green hard drives are capable of approximately 300,000 load and unload cycles for their entire service year. They are compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.This reliable WD15EADS Western Digital Internal Drive features reduced power consumption by up to 40%.
