Product Information
Based on Alan Parker’s classic 1980 film, FAME follows a group of students at New York City’s High School for the Performing Arts as they make friends, fall in love, and pursue their showbiz hopes and dreams. The spin-off starred Debbie Allen as Lydia Grant, a compassionate dance teacher and tough disciplinarian (and minor character in Parker’s film) who provides guidance to the school’s young hopefuls: the ambitious, outspoken Coco (Erica Gimpel); the wallflower-in-bloom Doris (Valerie Landsburg) and her sensitive gay friend, Montgomery (P.R. Paul); music whiz Bruno (Lee Curreri); and class clown Danny (Carlo Imperato). This collection contains the entire first and second seasons of the series.
