But the speakers on this brand is TERRIBLE. I was going to return it ,but it seems to be the only brand around, this size, that has every feature I was looking for. So I got a small sound bar to magnify the quality of the sound. It solved the problem. That's why I gave it a 4.

Programs sound like they are being broadcast over a '60's telephone. Any attempt to soften the sound did not work. Accessed the menu to change the sound. The audio controls, no matter how they are set, had no effect. Lowering the treble or raising the bass had no effect. All controls absolutely nonresponsive.
