The item arrived faulty. Whoever donated this scanner basically couldn't fix it, so decided to donate it. It was opened up, the circuit board was faulty, and some parts were missing. I eventually fixed it by diagnosing the fault and doing some micro-soldering. If it wasn't Cancer Research I would have returned it. The seller couldn't be blamed for it as it was listed as untested. However, it should have not been donated it in the first place. This kind of attitude is doing more harm than good...
