Thomas, I am very sorry to hear about the condition of the box. I sincerely hope that the kit itself wasn't damaged. Did you take any photos of the box after receiving it? Did the Post Office give you any explanation as to its condition and why it was collapsed? If I recall correctly, I used double-thickness carboard for the shipping box, so I can only imagine that when the Post Office handled it, something extreme happened that crushed the box. This is very disturbing. I'm sorry. John
