It is pretty much unmarked, but the paint has just started to go on the raised edges of the lovely solid aluminium scallops. The chrome body is unmarked. The focus ring action is nice and smooth with no play in the action. The painted lettering on the focus and aperture rings is completely intact, although yellowing slightly with age. The aperture ring is ‘clicky’ and free moving. The iris blades are nice and snappy. The iris is in perfect condition and free of oil. The bayonet mount is in excellent condition. Optical: Very GoodThere is some fine speckling on the rear element coating and a larger area of damage. See note at the beginning of the listing. There is a small amount of dust in the lens but less than one would expect in a lens of this age. None of these issues has much effect on image quality, bar a slight reduction in contrast... cont'd below...”
