the product was in great condition EXCEPT that it wasn't only the trackpad that didn't consistently work, but also a mouse added externally and sometimes SOME keyboard shortcuts wouldn't work, either - on occasion. That happened on both Mint and Debian OS. E-searches showed that many Dell laptops commonly have problems such as this.
