The buttons worked fine but getting the GM OEM let into the new fob didn't. The button didn't fit into the key and then have enough body left to get through the fob hole to work the switch to pop the key out. I now have the OEM key in one fob and the black in the other with my key on a ring attached to the fob. The stud the let is on is different than the OEM. I drilled the fob out a touch together the original key stud and key into the one fob, otherwise it wouldn't work at all
