Looks in perfect condition, not sure how it was maintained, 38R is a perfect fit on me and this fits like a tight 36R can only guess there was a washing error in the past....Only bought it because I know the fit of Ralph Lauren and this does not match my many other Ralph Lauren clothes...again looked in perfect condition, but recommend get measurements before buying from this seller so that to can actually wear the item
