The mounting clamps seems solid on the cargo rack and should easily carry tools, a gallon of fuel, or camping gear. I wouldn't recommend carrying anything more than 10 lbs maximum on this side rack if you mainly go off-road with your Trail 125.

Not the cheapest rack out there but the pins underneath for the bungee cord hooks are great. I ordered this one because the reviews were far better than most for "similar" Monkey racks. The package area is small but a small bag can be bungeed down for gloves, rainsuit or sunglass'. Shipping speed was phenomenal and this came from outside the USA. It actually arrived 2 days ahead of the estimate.
