    While the remote was received the programming manual needed to get the remote to work with a given TV was not included. I tried the online method general method RCN has on their web site but it did not work with this unit. As a result, this is a useless plastic paperweight.

    Hello! It is unfortunate that you are experiencing technical issues with pairing the remote to your television. Per the original listing, there was no manual included with the remote, which is why it was listed as a replacement remote control.
