    It fits my Olympus OMD EM1 iii, but not perfectly. The latch sits slightly proud of the surround when the battery door is closed. I found the screw hole in the latch was incomplete, so needed to really force the screw in. It’s doing the job for now, but I will probably adjust the spare one by pre-drilling the screw hole to be better sized and cut or file a thin sliver off the depth of the body (probably less than 1 mm). Seems impossible to buy the genuine part at least in UK.

    Very good! Unit worked as indicated though steady hands and the correct jeweller's phillips fine screwdriver is a must-have. You should also, on disassembly pay close attention to each part's orientation. Magnetizing (rub it on magnet) the screwdriver tip helps to hold the screws as you re-assemble the door latch system. Image shows the replaced Olympus part.

    Thank you. It looks like it is the wrong part. The lever for the E-M5 Mark I would be a better fit.
