This is a must 1st gen f150 2.7. HEED Ray's directions, and this! MUST BE CLEAN. Mine dripped 4 days. Then spray brake clean in and wipe out return galleys multi times. The key is 45 min without oil residual reaching the machined face of block. Put rags in galleys help slow the drip while apply rtv ulta black on block, then gasket, then rtv on gasket. tighten bolts very lightly/finger. Wait 2 hrs min, tighten 1/2 to 3/4 turn more for final torque. Mine 2016 2WD
