I tried to troubleshoot the remote by reprogramming the unit but after following the steps carefully, it did not work. I had to buy a used authentic Samsung remote BN59-02391A and it worked right out of the box. I guess that I should have purchased this used remote initially even though it cost twice as much (used). I would not recommend the Tekswamp remote. Just get the original remote even though it cost US$100 new.
