Seller Notes: “This typewriter has seen some time and use with some wear and tear such as the space bar has a ... “This typewriter has seen some time and use with some wear and tear such as the space bar has a melted spot and there are some cosmetic scuffs see photos for more on condition. When plugged in there was a crackling sound it was quite subtle but still there and the cord has aged and feels stiff and possibly getting brittle so please be aware. Having said that we did plug in and test and you can see in the photos we were able to type just fine and everything seemed to be in working order however it could probably use a little maintenance such lubrication and possible deep clean. Given some attention we are sure this typewriter can be restored to a smoothly functioning typewriter. Considering this unit is used we kindly ask to read the disclaimer in full. Sold as is please review all photos before purchase and feel free to ask any questions.”
