It wasn't working properly so I took a guess that the power supply capacitors were no longer functioning. Thanks to your description on eBay, I was correct. I replaced the capacitors, and now the receiver works perfectly! Indeed, I may order another set for my other Carver receiver. That one has been working just fine for 30+ years, but I learned that capacitors wear out, even though they look just fine. So thanks again!
