ECM... located beside your fusebox under the hood. - I sent mine off for repair to SIA Electronics in Tilden, IL and got it back fully repaired in less than 10 days for $115 total. It totally fixed the jerking between 2nd gear and 1st gear when slowing down. Saved me $3,800 for a rebuilt transmission that WOULD NOT HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE. It wasn't the transmission at all.

Replaced 6 capacitors and cleaned some acid damage. 1996 Lexus Es 300 these cars well Toyota Ecu's capacitors go bad over time ,The Lexus forum steered me in the right direction. They did a great job & my car fired right up. I had the ECU installed but I didn't drive it yet it seemed to be doing just fine. Don't listen to any bad reviews from angry idiots cuz they do a good job.

A lot of companies don’t extend that courtesy. Because I so desperately need it, I sent it to them priority mail, which ended up taking a week instead of three days to get to them. I am very hopeful that they will get back to me as soon as it’s repaired and offer me an expedited shipping. I asked if they would test it again just in case and they did. They called again and said that the ECM was fine. They then refunded some of the purchase price....who does that? I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND SIA to anyone who is having a problem with their ECM,ECU or PCM.
