Plugged in and appears to work ok, hear transformer buzz and can measure current across adjacent commutator segments. Meter works and can see current jump from probes. Fitted a 13 amp fused UK plug since could not find a 5 amp round pin adaptor handy for original plug. No sign of instructions mentioned in listing, possibly these are online or cd rather than printed format Expect this to be useful for my repair jobs,
