Firstly the bigger plastic end wouldn't fit the housing unlessprior modification. I had to remove material from the inside because the hole was Mikey mouse shaped, but the shaft was not. Secondly the cable was way too short. I had to cut the cable housing (which was a nightmare to do) to shorten it even though all three were the same length as bmw originals. Now the cable is very tight and it's not as smooth as it should be to move. I hope with time it will loosen enough to turn easily.
