Look closely. The pics and details look to be reminiscent of a ham radio end-fed "flower pot antenna". Look closer, and you'll see that this is NOT RG-58 cable, but it's RG-174. Okay for reception, MAYBE, but limited as far as transmitting. RG-58 is bad for length/band involved here, RG-174 is THE WORST in coax line loss (the higher that you go with frequency and/or length)! LADDER LINE would show less loss (if one can match it)! Maybe my fault when looking at pics. Works for scanner RX, though.
