I recommend you say to alternate slightly loosening the wire and pressing it in with a wooden dowel. I loosened all at once and it sprung out. Fortunately I got it back to a small dia. using a SS hose clamp which I could release slowly. Clock is running for 6 weeks now but adjusting it to hold time is tricky. If fast, a small twist of the knob can make it run slow; reversing yields inconsistent results. Thanks so much for your previous advice!
