Seller Notes: “Very good condition for both with good faces and no dinks or silver damage - the glass handles are ... “Very good condition for both with good faces and no dinks or silver damage - the glass handles are very good with a tiny nick under the ferule area when dismantled but this is under the silver ferrule so not an issue and only a tiny nibble - they are superb for age. The only minor fault on both is on the spoon as the glass handle moves slightly on the centre rod as the finial wont screw right up on the handle base. The handle is secure and fully safe to use and the piece had a tiny paper grommet that had been fitted to give a tight screw fit for the finial. A paper or tiny washer would be just as good, but it is still fully useable as the finial screws fully in just short by about half a mm and it could have been like this since it was made”
