The first one was very thin, very flimsy, didn't feel quality at all. Now this one, very thick, has a nice pattern on it so if something falls it gets caught inside the pattern. It's very heavy-duty feeling, meaning it doesn't move around a whole bunch, which is kind of what you need. That way when you close your trunk it doesn't get in your way. Do yourself the favor and buy a high-quality trunk line
