With incredibly long curving toes and even longer more sinuous tail, the lizard is an otherworldly apparition of gentle energy. The painted dragonflies that accompany the lizard somehow suggest a more solid presence despite their ethereal nature. The artist who created this fine pot worked some real magic with these evocative creatures.
