I had a similar issue with my previous blender base, it overheated after just a few uses. The blender doesn't seem to have a thermal fuse, so there's no obvious fix for it. I ordered this because my jar is still in good condition, thought it'd give it another try. I don't blame the seller, the blender is poorly made. Oh well, one batch of pesto for $35.
