I've had 4 spinal surgeries and 1-2 pounds makes a big difference in a backpack. I have a steady hand so this tripod does all I wanted it too for $65. With prime or otherwise light lenses it's peachy. I like the fact that now I can mount my phone to my tripod and start political reels for Facebook and not have to prop my up with a coffee mug. It does what I need
