The stick legit has a night and day difference in feel with shifting because of the leverage you get, and in person the carbon looks real (I don't know for sure its fake but for 40 bucks I doubt it's real). There is a very slightly noticeable edge from the red aluminum to the "Carbon" and its not perfectly smooth, but for the price this is a fantastic shifter that looks great.Shipping did take a few weeks
