<h2>Ron Guth</h2><p>In 1908, the Denver Mint was the second most prolific producer of Half Dollars, though the mintage was not quite as large as that of the previous year.&nbsp; The 1908-D Half Dollar is a common date that can be found readily in MS63 and MS64.&nbsp; There is also an ample supply of MS65&#39;s -- about half the population of MS64&#39;s.&nbsp; The low end of the PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census includes some MS66&#39;s, but the real rarities are in MS67, where only a few have been certified.&nbsp; NGC reports a single MS68 -- that coin set a record price for the date in 2014, but it resold in 2015 for substantially less.</p><h2>David Akers</h2>This is a fairly common issue that is easily obtained below the Gem level, but Gem quality examples are certainly very scarce.

    The coin I received appears to have been harshly cleaned/polished , the photos that I received did not accurately depict this . The seller did admit that coins are not his forte. I should have taking my time and asked more questions and asked to see additional photo befor commiting to bid on this item.
